reminded me of requiem for a dream where you’re put into the shoes of a bunch of suffering characters.

great soundtrack too (Aimee Mann is so incredible).

Need to watch it a 2nd time soon! I liked it a lot but struggled to put some elements of this movie together. There’s so much happening thematically and structurally that it almost demands repeat viewings. I believe my 2nd–3rd watch will suffice

a massive project from one of my all time favorite masters of the medium, an impressive and packed anthology film with a vast amount of ideas, themes, and concepts. the characters, writing, and cinematography are all very strong; definitely worthwhile

Long as crap. It had 6 stories, that’s why it’s so long, tried hard to tell all the stories to completion but fell short. Unique story telling, great score, amazing cast. A bit vulgar, slow at times. Hardos probably drool over this movie

One of those films that leaves you disarmed at the end.
