A short with a ton of creativity and a couple really strong moments. Sometimes its bizarreness was a bit much for me personally, but it was still an enjoyable watch.

fun concept

5.1 - I just saw this is an adaptation of a children’s book, & I think that clears up for me what felt off about it as a short film.

It felt choppy & drifted a bit too much, & I don’t know if that was helped by the stop motion style of the animation.

The story itself and message of a kid finding his voice & confidence through the interactions with the people around him and various environments is solid, but it just didn’t flow quite right for me.

I love Dong-Dong’s dog though - had an exact conversation I’d expect from my aging pup.
