Woww, this is one of, if not the best movie 2025 is going to give us. Insaane.
Amazing amazing acting from Jonathan he absolutely killed that role. Weird how I never heard of him before.
Now that I'm aware of his past issues, I just know some of these scenes weren't acting. The-

Depression and Obsession don’t mix well. Johnathan Majors puts on an Oscar worthy performance portraying a body builder that will push his mental and physical limits to leave his lasting mark on the world.

Movie gives off a body building version of black swan or whiplash 8.0/10

A triumph for Jonathan Majors’s career, I didn’t believe he had it in him to do a serious role like this one but I was wrong, I’ll admit it. He did overplay certain parts of it but not to the point where it was too much… and guess what!? He got rid of the goddamn mewing face he does, that’s fucking great!!!

(He does sprinkle it here and there but not too much)

All jokes aside it’s a very good story and his acting was great here, only note I would have is pacing and editing.

Cinematography wise it looked great, nothing too crazy but way more above average Hollywood bs, colors were on point.

And thank you AMC for showing me this movie 2 weeks earlier than release.

Overall I’m impressed with Jonathan Majors’s work, he definitely has it. (This is coming from someone that didn’t appreciate his work in creed III and Quantumania)

This was an interesting watch. Intense acting from Jonathon Majors

7.8/10 Jonathon Majors put on an incredible performance. This movie covers so many troubling topics, kind of a slower dark movie but kept my attention. Someone described it as “the body builder’s black swan” which is pretty accurate. Loneliness, mental illness, and obsession.

One of those slow movie that are kinda dark, but it was to dark and boring for me. Good if you like that kinda stuff.

Jonathan Majors BETTER win that Oscar! MASTERPIECE! Best performance of the year so far!

Great acting

Good movie. Stumbles in places, overall strong performances and well shot. Kind of like a combination of ‘perfect blue’ and ‘Whiplash’ but for body building. While not quite as good as those films, it shares the same mental decay and destructive road to perfection/acceptance
