This is over the top stupid. I would say this is the “John Wick” of this era, but I don’t want to insult John Wick. This movie is directed in the same story and cinematography template that the parody movies use to make fun of action movies like this.

Machete is an over-the-top action flick packed with gore, dark humor, and a badass performance by Danny Trejo. It doesn’t take itself seriously, embracing its grindhouse roots with absurd action and wild characters. Fun, violent, and unapologetically insane.

I hope this was a purposefully bad movie cause I loved it. So stupid. It was awesome. I’ve come to the conclusion that Danny Trejo looks like he smells bad. AND IT HAD ROBBIE D?!? Get the fuck outta here.
