9.5/10 cinematically STUNNING. I saw it in the cinema and it was totally worth every penny. A love letter to Van Gogh and a beautiful interpretation of his work. It’s so unique in the sense that it’s done completely in his style. I recommend to anyone who wants a good cry.

A beautifully human tribute, a heartbreaking introspective on how we treat others, & an intriguing mystery. This film may play after his death, but Van Gogh’s presence is felt in the art style & the enormous effort put into every frame.

This movie doesn’t get talked about enough. The whole movie is painted by hand. That’s all you really need to know. The mystery behind Vincent’s death is so interesting. Watch this instead of eternity’s gate please. Eternity’s gate is not worth it

as i was watching this beautiful piece, I wondered why I took so long to actually come around and watch it.

It is so magnificent and beautiful, I long for another masterpiece like this to be made.

Do not sleep on this movie and give it a shot

BEAUTIFULLY PAINTED. BUT the story is semi boring. I despised how all of the flashbacks were painted in black and white. I wish the entire movie was in the vibrancy of Vincent’s style. I wish the story was just the story of Vincent’s life & not this “mystery”set after his death

A deeply touching and beautiful movie, every frame looks like it should be in a museum, and whenever it freezes on a scene it's beyond beautiful, so much work must have been done to make this, and not to mention the deeply touching and human story of Vincent 10/10
