It was gay, it was gory, it was life.

I don’t know how I’m supposed to recover from this one guys. Had me actually gagged at times like wow I love women. Got progressively more disturbing in the best way. So much subtext, could spend hours analyzing. Only complaints: 1)the noises were extreme 😵‍💫 2) not enough gay sex

A gritty, sexy, thrilling queer body horror dramedy with a stellar cast and a flavor that keeps you licking the outside of your teeth long after the credits rolled. Really killer stuff and would love to see more from this creative team.

Kristin Stewart sucks toes in this

The grit, the gore, the glory, the genes, the galore, the gains, the gasps, and the griddy. Filled to the brim with burning tension and hypnotic editing. The acting was insane, the story was insane, the soundtrack was insane, and everything just got really insane. Just like 'Black Swan', this movie starts unravelling when you least expect it, and it doesn't stop. There's a whole lot of analysing to do, I figured out a few of the messages it threw, but I still have no idea on half of it. The score put me in a trace when nothing was happening. My eyes and ears were stuck.

This movie was such a thrilling ride. I really enjoyed the chemistry between Kristen Stewart and Katy O’Brian’s characters and I was a little thrown off with the ending at first but after a little time of reflection, I developed an interpretation that made appreciate it more

Really woke me the f up. An intense disturbing watch, every character is so unhinged & goddamn panicky that adds to the tension. For me the most interesting aspects were how it depicts masculine aggression, utilizing its backdrop of the 80s bodybuilding scene particularly well…

imagine my surprise when there were men in the movie theater…anyway. appreciate that there was a solid plot and that the whole movie wasn’t just some weird obsession with their romance. thanks for the reminder that cigarettes are hot AND dangerous. kristen stewart yep yep

what in the fuck ? but go LESBIANS 💪

It’s fine. There are elements of this film that really stand out, brilliant cinematography and a great soundtrack. This film is really gripping at times but has elements that will pull you out of it, bizarre for no reason with lots of unnecessary sex.

7.6 - Equal parts romantic drama, bloody crime thriller, & skin crawling body horror. It’s dark, twisty, bloody, erotic, & funny. Incredibly immersive visuals & score. A few pacing issues, unclear story threads, & a WILD ending. But great visuals & solid performances make it fun.

PERFECTION

A24 is my spirit animal lol , so this def had thelma and Louise vibes the ending was def something I wasn’t expecting and spoiler alert you are not either ….. and in all an enjoyable movie !
