Love at First Sight

This might be one of the only rom-coms that I actually love. It was very cute and didn’t make me cringe like they normally do.

This is EVERYTHING you want from a romcom. Perfect amount of cheese. Incredible acting. Loved every second.

I like the actors and the story

Rating: ⭐ 6.0/10 🟡 (Meh)

Technical Focus: 🛠️ Clever narrative framing and strong, emotionally heavy family backstories.

Hyperfocus / Favorite Detail: 🔍 The omnipresent narrator acting passive-actively in the protagonists' lives, and Oliver’s mother’s funeral, which completely saved the movie from being a total skip. 🕊️📜

My Review:
💬 It's a textbook definition of "Meh". The main romance was weak, boring, and lacked genuine chemistry, failing to carry the movie past the beginning. However, it's saved by Oliver's family dynamic; the backstory and the funeral scene gave so much depth and personality that I honestly would have preferred a whole story centered entirely around them. 🥱

Would I watch it again? 🔁 No. Aside from the family backstory, it was too boring to rewatch.
