It's not terrible, but it struggles to escape the shadow of the original. The new vampire gang has a different style, & the movie leans harder into blood & gore, giving it a more direct-to-video horror feel. It's a decent guilty-pleasure vampire sequel. That’s all.

It honestly wasn’t that bad for a vampire film/comedy. I liked Corey being in it. Story was meh but it was entertaining enough. Mindless fun.

Wasnt the worst horror sequel and i liked the pace of this movie. Sometimes in prequels it just turns to shit and gives hard B movie vibes when the 1st wasnt. Liked the kills, cast was okay, and the fact that they surf at night is cool. Not a household sequel

One of the worst sequels ever. This was just terrible. Terrible cinematography and performances and the story was just a rehash of the first movie. Easily one of the worst movies I’ve ever seen

Good sequel

It’s definitely not as good as the original, but they do still have some aspects of the original movie in this one and I really like how the actor that plays the head vampire is related to Kiefer Sutherland IRL. Angus reprised his brother’s role very well.
