A truly masculine film, filled with pain, suffering, and humanity. A portrayal of the connection between hatred and the survival instinct of soldiers overwhelmed by their circumstances. Peter Berg is clearly a second Michael Bay. A healthy dose of bravery from start to finish.

Its based on true story and deliver relentless tension and the heavy cost of combat.

great movie! very hard to watch and not feel the weight of the soldiers who were lost.

In 1986, Mark Wahlberg and friends chased and threw rocks at a group of Black children while yelling the N-word. In 1988, he assaulted two Vietnamese men on the same day during an attempted theft, injuring one and striking the other with a stick while yelling racial slurs.
