Half-sibling incest

unlikeable characters and an uninteresting murder mystery

Great cast and interesting back and forth between flashbacks and current events. Couple of twists at the end, one of which was fine but the other I could’ve totally done without. Won’t go into details to avoid the spoiler, but IYKYK.

The best Texas-themed movie ever created. The cast and intertwined stories are pitch perfect.👍🏻👍🏻

Wasn't a fan of the style of storytelling, and the content of the story just wasn't that interesting to me. Also the ending is really weird and out of nowhere.

Slow burner murder mystery film that didn’t have so much going on. Still a young Matthew McConaughey gave a good performance for the little screen time he was given.

Brilliant. A patient unfolding mystery that weaves a web around interconnected lives in a small Texas town. Great cast, great film.

Very slow and long. Could have easily lost an entire plot point and saved 25min without losing anything thematically. Overall, very lackluster.
