Over the course of this 85-minute race down the M6, the journey turns out to be far more interesting than the destination: we’re hearing about the construction of a building, but we might be watching the demolition of a life.

7.3 - not sure this works with many actors outside of Tom Hardy who puts on an absolute masterclass. Pulling off something this engaging & anxious in 85 minutes, with one cramped location, & essentially one actor is impressive. I still don’t know anything about concrete though.

A very sad story, amazing performance of Tom Hardy and a different approach of filmmaking. Following a downward spiral and seeing where it leads was well written. The more I think about the movie, the better it gets.

If you’re thinking “wow this man loves concrete”, you’d be right. If you also thought “wow, is he going to spend the entire movie in the car calling other famous voice actors”??? You would also be right
