Over the course of this 85-minute race down the M6, the journey turns out to be far more interesting than the destination: we’re hearing about the construction of a building, but we might be watching the demolition of a life.

7.3 - not sure this works with many actors outside of Tom Hardy who puts on an absolute masterclass. Pulling off something this engaging & anxious in 85 minutes, with one cramped location, & essentially one actor is impressive. I still don’t know anything about concrete though.

A very sad story, amazing performance of Tom Hardy and a different approach of filmmaking. Following a downward spiral and seeing where it leads was well written. The more I think about the movie, the better it gets.

Man loves his concrete

Don’t watch this if you have tik tok brain, seriously don’t, it takes place in a car and I’m 100% sure you can’t focus if there isn’t an explosion or something colorful.

That being said, dialogue is great, story is intriguing and cmon now, Hardy is Hardy.

That moment where he’s speaking to his son and tearing up while he speaks of the soccer game? Chills.

Brilliant writing, it’s not easy to pull off, seriously… it takes place in a ducking car and yet I couldn’t take my eyes off the fucking screen
