Local Hero

Cute but doesn’t really hold up, especially after watching banshees of inisherin recently. Didn’t finish it

snug and warm, like a well-fitting scottish wool sweater

Heartwarming movie about what is more important than work and money. Beautifully filmed and superbly acted with a great soundtrack by Mark Knopfler as icing on the cake

Strange wholesomeness to an otherwise corporate theme. Beautiful visual poetry between the beginning and end. Great performances. Undertones and themes are relevant today and have withstood the test of time. A truly unique piece of work
