I wouldn’t say this is actually a bad movie, I was just pretty bored, especially during the first hour of it. I liked the book story more than the actual main characters lol. The music and animation was very nice

3/10 Beautiful animation… but that is all there is to it. I really don’t like having to dislike something but this was hard to finish. I really tried to get into it but it felt like a ball of nothingness and the story barely progressed. I still don’t even know if it was trying to hint at a romance or if they were just weird friends. The story book part was kind of interesting but everything was just slow and dull. Both main characters in my opinion did not have much chemistry and it felt super forced, one was insanely shy and the other seemed like they didn’t care, it just felt rushed at the end. I felt like I was personally sitting at band practice waiting to go home the entire time.

Love it , it reminded me why i love the serie so much , gorgeous visuals as expected from KyoAni , an enjoyable watching experience and recommend it to everyone who loves music 🫶
