i recommend this movie if you’re a romance lover and feminist. i have no words to describe how beautiful this movie is. the theme of love and friendship is so well depicted and you’ll get to see how it felt to be a women in those times. i highly recommend!

I wish Jo told Laurie how she felt because I wanna know if he would’ve changed his mind and chosen Jo instead of Amy. I want to know if Amy really was his second choice or if he actually loved her more. Btw I like him more with Amy im just wondering because I can’t stop thinking.

sometimes a movie about women experiencing life and womanhood can be so personal. jo I just GET you. I understand! every time I watch this movie I end up crying. “I’m so sick of people saying that love is just all a woman is fit for. I’m so sick of it. But I’m so lonely.” AHHHHH!

I SWEAR TO GOID I LOVE THIS MOVIE BUT BITCH SHE DESERVED HIM HE DID NOT GO WITH HER FUCKING SISTER LIKE WOW but all in all it was a great movie JUST WOW LIKE NO SHE WAS MEANT FOR HIM AND HE WAS MEANT FOR HER NOT HER FUCKING SISTER it was a good movie tho you should watch it

Greta Gerwig needs to go back to directing dramas, where Barbie was okay and my opinion of it got worse over time, this movie is stellar. Every shot is beautiful, the acting is superb...and I don't even like romance. New favorite Timothée Chalamet role

This was so good, I won’t lie I didn’t have much feeling for Beth but when she died the reactions from all of her family is what made me cry and I’ve never read the book but I do believe Jo and Laurie should’ve ended up together

OMGGGG???? i used to not like this movie. like boots. it was on the same level as cmbyn and pretty women for me. like it’s just okay. BUT OMG THIS IS SO FUCKING GOOD IM A FUCKING DUMB IDIOT.

I love Jo. But we are so fundamentally different. I would’ve folded for Laurie so fast and that’s probably why he loved her. I’m a person where if you are even slightly OK looking to me and you are a man I will want you at one point. So me and Laurie would’ve had it out.

I believe that Joe loved Laurie, but not in the way he wanted and even she wanted. I feel like she knew that it would be so much easier to love him romantically but she just couldn’t do it. I think that part of the reason why is because she wouldn’t allow herself to because of her views on marriage, and what she considers a fulfilling life. More than that she also just didn’t have a romantic love for him. I don’t think. It was serving if they were both girls it would be the homoerotic female friendship. But they’re not so it’s just like when yall gonna fuck. They serve what Ariana and Cynthia serve now.

they were even touchy and stuff. The fact that she was so comfortable with this man and still could not love him. It feels like she would’ve never gotten into that point. Her saying no before he even started just by seeing his look. Literally had me shook up.

Before watching the movie, I thought that it was clear that they set up these iconic moments and then built the movie around it. But I’m stupid and dumb because that’s not the case at all it’s just iconic moments.

i’m a jo mixed with the mom. that’s what my sister said. I consider myself a very loyal person so if it were me, I don’t know if I could forgive Amy, but I’m also very much a sister’s girl so we wouldn’t talk for like two months and then we get over it.

I don’t think Joe loved him. but that feels like an ex. They had a seven year friendship with romantic possibilities. That’s an ex. I’m sorry. So I do believe that Amy was in the wrong for sure. But also Amy feels like she was so selfish that she didn’t see it with Laurie and Joe. she only saw the fall out of it, which was Laurie like falling into a hole.

I’m keeping in mind that we only saw her from ages 13 to 20. And I would say these are very developmental ages and I can’t judge her decisions based on that.

Timothée Chalamet was such a good laurie oh my God. I have never and will never have a crush on him, but he was such a good Laurie. I understand why people love him. I love his movies but something about him as an actor i don’t find him like attractive

His monologue shook me to my core. I’ve obviously seen it 1 million times but it hits every time which is so important.

beth ate. meg ate. the french guy was bad. and they did a great job with making myrell streep look decrepit and dilapidated

beautiful movie with an amazing message.
i cried so many times.

I was kind of disappointed as I was sooo excited for this movie but they changed it so much from the original and it dragged a lot. I’m not a huge fan of half present half past flashback movies which is how this movie was done. I wish they had done a remake then a sequel instead.

every character in this movie has a deep, complex dimension of emotions and motivations, a cinematic masterpiece of sisterhood, girlhood, struggling, growth, love, heartbreak. greta gertwig is beyond a phenomenal director, and everytime she speaks of the film i fall more in love.

Florence Pugh should not be in this movie, she does NOT fit the part and she pissed me off. Other than her, it was a good movie. Timothee is also starting to piss me off and he always looks hungry

I’ve watched all of the little women remarks and originals. And I was thoroughly impressed by this one.
It showed more depth into the background of the characters then previous films.
The story was bittersweet and I love it even more for that.
Overall I rate it a 10/10

idk why but i didn’t enjoy this. maybe i should have read the books first but idk. i didnt like florence pugh’s character at all and i hated the ending because timothee’s character didn’t like her either?? he just went for the next best thing

Loveeeee. A comfort movie for me. A must see . Greta Gerwig is such an amazing director

Watched for the second time with the guys, and I liked it probably even more the second time. Just a solid movie and I honestly can’t explain why I liked it so much 😭
