9.7 - (Updated Review) One of my all time favorite Disney…no, scratch that, all time favorite movies.
It’s so wholesome. And its portrayal of family is so real, which is incredible for an animated movie about aliens. Also maybe the best foster/adoption movie I can think of which hits home personally as a now foster parent. It has one of the single best scripts I can think of, both hilarious and full of heart. Stitch is an all time iconic character. The style, between the gorgeous watercolor backgrounds and bright 2D animation, is incredibly unique. The soundtrack is perfect. Will always be a happy place movie for me.

The only version I want to watch

A Sci-Fi Animated flick that shows the bond charming outcasts can make when they embrace their love of Elvis.

After watching the remake, it was time for the original. Though I like both of them in their own ways, I have to give this one the slight advantage it being the first. I can see how some people are upset with some of the changes that were made. They are both just as enjoyable.

This is such a heartwarming and original movie, definitely one of my favourites. As a big sister I love the dynamic between Lilo and Nani, and obviously I love Stitch’s character arch. Elvis music & Hawaii setting totally elevate this movie also. All this to say, it’s adorable!
