Waited until I could stream it at home because I thought it was gonna be bad. It actually is a charming movie, maybe not top-notch Pixar, but it did not deserve the review bombing. The cat is my favorite character.

8/10 i prefer the original toy story movies, but this was still a really good movie

The movie was amazing, Pixar magic and a cool story. Felt like a collar between Toy Story and Interstellar

Very happy with what I got. Not a phenomenal movie but it’s exactly what was needed for a Buzz origin story.

Was kinda disappointing

It's a great, albeit predictable idea, but I hope Disney doesn't make an origin story about Woody anytime soon. The animation is unoriginal. The characters are annoying. The humour is dry. The runtime drags. The writing is predictable, but most of all, it just doesn't make sense. Not in our universe, nor in theirs. I mean, it actively goes against Lightyear's lore in nearly every way. Either the creatives have never watched Toy Story, or someone up top decided to kill off the film before it even began. They had all the potential and fumbled it on the simplest steps. Just like 'Zurg', I wish I could go back in time.

What the film lacks is the sheer range of characters that made the Toy Story films so enchanting.

Socks is great. The rest is kinda mid and I don’t really see it being a real origin story for Buzz. I think if they would have done something more along the lines of the show Buzz Lightyear of Star Command, it would have been better.

Also the plot point of who Zurg is doesn’t fit well with Toy Story 2, sooo yeah.

It was mediocre at its best. The characters were so unlikeable especially that one guy (Mo) was so annoying, even Buzz cannot save them (literally). I like the adventure but the story felt flat and it could’ve been better if they worked more on the development of it.

They already have a phenomenal Buzzlight origin story. This was lazy, unnecessary, and doesn even make sense in its own universe.
