I think you had to be there but I respect how many other pieces this has inspired and its influence in British humour.

7.3 - It’s not as funny or even as easy to follow as Holy Grail but it’s still absurd, slapsticky, & quotable. Sets are very well done & the premise is genius even if it didn’t cross over with biblical storylines as often as I expected or hoped.

Definitely a product of its time, but “Biggus Dickus” has become a natural part of my vocabulary 😂

genuinely funny and super clever with nearly as much exceptional control of its material as compared to the holy grail before it. surprisingly gorgeous with tons of absurd gags and pretty massive amounts of nudity. a love for that one transgender person; ahead of its time
