The concept is good but the execution is lacking. I don’t feel like there’s a standout performance and the action scenes are chalked full of 2000s shaky cam.

really liked this honest portrayal of the japanese side during WWII, clint eastwood did a great job of showing their faults while also humanizing them

c'était cool mais moins bien que côté Amérique. Le décors ne changeait pas on était trop tout le temps sur le front. Les personnage était vraiment bien, surtout le principal (😍). Ca reflète vraiment les idées de guerre et comment ça se passe c'était vraiment bien.

This is the sister movie to “Flags of our fathers” this tells from the Japanese side of world war 2 and is very compelling. A good movie.

Interesting to see this from the Japanese view and side.

An emotional and tragic war movie that will have you tearing up and horrified throughout. One of the best WW2 movies ever made without a doubt
