Robert Downey Jr. is so phenomenal in this movie that any scene without him feels boring in comparison. McCarthy and Gertz are fine in this but RDJ takes the cake. This movie is deeply emotional and captivating. 8/10

Such a great 80s movie. It’s 💯 a Christmas movie in that it takes place at Christmas but it’s not about Christmas

I did not think this movie was going to be this good. All the acting is incredible and the writing is great. It was very emotional and deep, but also funny at the same time. Julian dying was very shocking and a sad, but good way to end it. Overall I’d give it a 6.5/10.

Weird movie but also really sad. Just watching a struggling addict try to make good of his life while his drug dealer won’t let him
