Les Misérables

anne hatherway i’m convinced just never ages!!

5.79/10. I’m sorry I really wanted to like this. But there is just too much singing for me. The overall story is great and acting is great too. But there’s only like 10 lines in a 2.5 hour movie that just normal speaking. Broadway shows have less singing than this.

Despite its faults, the story of "Les Misérables" is timeliness for a reason. There is something special about Claude-Michel Schönberg's music that makes you stand up to attention which makes the film enjoyable in spite of its imperfections.

Don’t get me wrong the film was executed very well and it had great singing and acting but I’m just very picky when watching musicals.

To me this had a bit too much singing even. Yeah yeah I know it’s a musical it’s supposed to have singing but I felt like there was too much of it.

Aside from that it had a nice story and good characters and I don’t have much bad to say about that part.

Overall a pretty decent film I don’t have too many opinions about.

i mean not bad but they literally sang every single line. i’ve never been more exhausted after finishing a movie, my goooood

this means so much to me…
