watching this movie is like watching what a right-wing, republican thinks inner-city schools look like. the overt racist tones and austerity measures in this is a microcosm of how reactionaries think america should be "fixed."

It was awesome but I recommend 12+. I also think this is based on a true story, so that makes this movie even better.

I have watched this movie so many times it just isn’t registering on this app. But I absolutely love this movie just amazing actors and completely worth your time to sit and watch.

This is a good movie. crazy that it’s based on a true story and that, they would actually try and get rid of a good principal when the bad kids got kicked out and the rest of the school improved.

Hard nose, militaristic approach to administration. Definitely could have given the teachers some grace. Winds up a little too perfect.

Definitely a flawed film. The pacing just doesn’t feel natural and Clark is ridiculously unlikable for a while. However the glue that keeps this movie together is its heart and passion that does leave an impact when it needs to. An alright movie that just needed a tighter script.

Very powerful. Shows how some discipline and going the extra mile can change lives.

Ron clark story, coach carter, etc.. but I love this one

While this movie is a little older, it is still representative of what is going on in schools across the country.
