tem um literal estupro filmado do Marlon brando contra a atriz. a coisa mais horrenda que eu vi num filme. e vi sem saber. tinha achado o filme só chato, mas depois disso me dá nausea só de lembrar

The spontaneity eventually grows on you…

I haven’t seen many French films but this is the first time I’ve found Paris depressing. So boring and slow, it has some good moments and some horrible ones. Won’t recommend to anyone. I read somewhere someone called it “philosophical porn” and yeah that’s exactly what it is.

Some cool camera shots and some heartfelt moments but it was mostly bland and left a lot of unanswered questions.

A great movie exploring abuse and grief; Marlon Brando is at his best but is one upped by Maria Schneider who is brilliant. The final 30 minutes of this film is incredible.

I seriously hate this movie. It was so awfully painful to watch. Deeply disgusted. Not gonna say pls don’t watch but I’m going to say pls don’t watch it it’s not worth the time you spend watching it. Nothing in this movie was good (sorry Marlon Brando) the last scene was so awful

Well made. Great acting. Deeply strange and moving.
