1) it was interesting knowing the backstory and comparing it to this interpretation, but it simply wasnt that good of a movie. but at the same time, i cant imagine how else a movie about kurts death would be directed. i appreciate van sant for tackling this but it shouldn’t have

I really hoped this would be a great documentary about such an icon and idol of mine but it was pretty bad just rondom scenes that doesnt conennct to each other and not really any information

I know the movie is a little boring but i understand it since its about the remaining last moment of Kurt Cobain before his death while his death still remaining a mystery. Really wished they used some song from nirvana or Kurt himself sucks they didn’t have the rights for them.

A non-literal biopic of Kurt Cobain, capturing the essence of loneliness, depression, and the effects of fame that is little talked about. It’s a very slow watch, but where it lingers is fascinating.

Very interesting film… not much happens and not much is said, but that’s point, all of the pain and struggle always lies beneath the surface

Weird, but.. My god, Mike looks really similar to Kurt from the back. Really liked some of the parts of the movie, like him singing Death To Birth

this was a really interesting take on kurt cobain's final moments. i found myself wondering, during this movie, if it could be offensive to make a whole film off of speculation about his death. i enjoyed it nonetheless. my partner loves nirvana and showed it to me.

I can see what they were trying to accomplish but it fails miserably. I can’t believe Gus Van Sant went from Good Will Hunting to this embarrassment

Just boring

Not something I’ll ever watch again, but still if you’re a Nirvana fan, this is a beautiful and haunting depiction of the last days of Kurt Cobain.
