There is a lot of hype around this film but I found it slow, drawn out and without any horror.

This movie feels like a cool blanket. The experience of watching it drags you to the bottom of the lake and releases you sooner than you want it to. Lake Mungo gets why ghosts are grief personified.

Wow why have I seen so many great reviews of this? It’s so boring. I’d watch Blair Witch Project before this, and I thought that was the most boring horror movie.
I like the idea of it, but it wasn’t scary at all, the acting is pretty bad like no real emotion from anyone in the movie, and the plot is just soo slow and not very gripping. Going in I had no idea it was a documentary style movie so yeah.
