Who killed Alice?

There is a lot of hype around this film but I found it slow, drawn out and without any horror.

i can see how this would have impacted me more if i watched it by myself on a laptop in complete darkness but unfortunately it fell flat for me

Alice is one of the most tragic characters in horror. She lived with a terrible secret for so long, being taken advantage of by her neighbors, knowing she was going to die before she actually died, and keeping all this from her family.
