Who killed Alice?

There is a lot of hype around this film but I found it slow, drawn out and without any horror.

not for everyone but one of few horror movies to genuinely creep me out and get me with a jump scare scene 😭

I’ve never been more truly terrified by a movie than I was til now, other horrors make you scared and are creepy, this movie terrifies you and stays with you from start to finish and even after that.

It felt so real, half the time it genuinely felt like I was watching a real life documentary of something that actually happened, and I think this paired with the eerie supernatural elements that are layered within the movies plot really makes this movie stand out in an overwhelmingly horrifying way. The way other mockumentary type movies portray the interview style filmmaking that would be seen on 60 minutes just feel so forced and or are not convincing enough to immerse you, but I don’t know if it’s the acting, the setting, the story, the way it’s shot, the fact that this films set in a place not far from where I live, or maybe it’s a combination of all these things but it brings a level of realness I’ve not seen in a movie before.

Not even to mention the story and acting from these Aussies is top notch, I think this is one for the ages, a horror movie I feel that should be put somewhere safe to be contained for all of eternity, because it’s absolutely incredible

i think that it’s fine :/ ultimately it’s a story about grief and overcoming loss. i do love the idea of knowing that you’re gonna die and not being able to stop it, like that is a haunting image. there are other haunting visuals but overall the movie is a bit mid and just not for me. but also let’s not skip over the fact that alice was GROOMED AND SA’D BY HER NEIGHBORS??? WTF???
