Very average. There isn’t really a strong narrative, more just action. I also didn’t think the visuals were particularly impressive. You’re left with a clear feeling that not enough happened. And it’s a shame that you’re never given much information about the characters.

brooo i’m so confused about the end. why did he leave italia and go back to digging up graves after his realisation and stuff?? and why did they trap him in the grave? and is he dead and if so how? i feel like im missing something lol

Non so dire ciò che mi ha colpito più in questo film: la fotografia, la trama tutto uno dei film che più mi ha stupito in assoluto. Un insieme di emozioni fortissime, travolgenti, una cupezza che in fondo si tramuta in dolcezza… perfetto

An incredibly dense & beautiful Italian film about a grave robber searching for Etruscan remains haunted by the one thing he can’t find. It touches on death & the afterlife as well as capitalism becoming a part of us all. Hard to describe but I didn’t relate to it much.

“you’re not made for human eyes” absolutely loved that line. a beautiful story with a beautiful, albeit bittersweet ending. never seen italy look so dull, but the characters made up for it. josh played his character very well in this. the cinematography was really good too.

It’s a movie worth watching once, as it carries a beautiful message
