RIP Ritchie Valens poor kid taken too soon. Pretty solid biopic music scenes are good wish it was abit longer I feel we should’ve got few more scenes of his childhood days and early career leading to his death to feel more emotion in the ending but overall solid watch 8/10

Biopic before biopics were biopics. Made me love and root for Ritchie Valens, and really made me fall in love with his music. Not perfectly made, but I enjoyed it!

If it was any longer I think it wouldn’t have held my attention. I’m glad to have watched this come to life for him and a shame his life was cut short. Unfortunately some of the lip syncing was a choice and not having the original musical was a shame.

Such an amazing movie his story deserves to be known to everyone Lou Diamond Phillips is a great actor I honestly wish this film was more popular so that I would’ve watched it sooner
