Italians had like a 30 year stretch of bangers all with the idea “okay so it’s the most beautiful woman you’ve ever seen in your life, now watch her go through emotional turmoil”

Just watched this on the big screen and it was a memorial for a film critic that passed away and it also was one of his favorite movies, rest in peace Phedia Christodoulides. Ngl Gloria was kind of a baddie.

Very visually captivating movie. Dialogue takes a back seat while the visuals do a great job at conveying a story of uncertainty. Looking for meaning in life but being unable to grasp or hold it down long enough to make it matter.

Masterpiece

Beautifully shot film that is easy to admire, but the slow pacing can make this hard to get through. 7.5/10
