A little slow to start, but the plot picked up and everything tied back. Good characters with good pacing too. Id give it an 8.5 as it was a little confusing to piece together the characters. Overall good

I’ll start off by saying that Im a huge fan of crime dramas so this was a treat to watch. This movie nailed it in terms of screenplay, writing and characters. The story of this movie was riveting and entertaining its full runtime. Nothing negative I can say about this film. 10/10

russell crowe and guy pearce did their thing as usual. but kevin spacey just proves to me hes one of the best actors of his generation. its unfortunate he had to go and touch little boys, but the way all his characters have that smug tone to them is really funny to me. 9/10

They don’t make movies like this anymore.

A slow burn crime thriller that has something for you every few minutes. The plot is interestingly convoluted with a satisfying end. Loved the 90s cop gunfights and style

Not a lot of notes - just an incredibly engrossing story that's right up my alley - conspiracy crime thriller/procedural with political intrigue and interesting, layered characters. Great performances.

Just amazing!

Honest to goodness a genuinely well crafted, flawlessly executed noire detective story.
I had no expectation to care about all of these characters & their plot lines but here we are.

& the way the theme of the entire movie was answered in one gunshot is crazy
