As a kid, I used to watch this with my dad all the time! I def have fond memories tied to this movie. But regardless, it’s action-packed, comedic, a bit spooky here and there, and will make you cry. Quite good.

This movie is high on my list..... love the action, comedy and satire. Crazy kung fu, hilarious...a must watch if you love silly action comedy kung-fu.

I’ve watched this multiple times, so nostalgic & entertaining. Never gets old

This is a movie that you can watch without subtitles and not get bored! It was so funny it had my partner and I in tears, we could not stop laughing at it!! It was really an amazing movie!

One of my favorite movies ever, don’t listen to all the movie snobs that say the dub sucks, don’t get me wrong I love a good foreign film and have no problem with subtitles, and the movie is still great on its own, but there’s just something about a good American dub done right.

So over-the-top and ridiculous that it works because the comedy lands as well. Right there side by side with Shaolin Soccer I loved them both, and I should be checking out more of this director's work!

Extremely goofy but also quite earnest in its fight choreography. Definitely chuckled. Written, directed and starring. Big feat.

maybe i’m just blinded by nostalgia but this is genuinely peak. the whole movie is kinda goofy (and even when it’s not goofy, the way that some effects aged are a bit goofy) but the ending always makes me tear up without fail
