i watched this twice. once with my dad and his side hoe and the once with my bf ❤️

i kept waiting for the twist and it never came. not to mention it’s rated R yet didn’t do anything rated R worthy. definitely not m. night’s best work but the acting wasn’t bad. 4/10

i’ve never left a movie feeling so unusual as i did with this one. it was chilling, eerie, and dark. the camera work was amazingly done. but it left you feeling weird and estranged. some parts were unsettling in a spooky way. (1/2)

Need an option between the thumbs down and thumbs up. It was okay. I’m an M. Night fan but this writing was bad. Dave Bautista was good but that’s about it

An acting masterclass across the board, especially from Dave Bautista. He’s really coming into his own as an actor. Unfortunately for a “mystery” movie there was never any twists or turns. What you see is what you get. Lots of missed potential but the acting carried

It was okay… a bit slow and I was really waiting on a plot twist. I thought the acting was great though, loved the little girl.

A huge plot hole/bad decision kept this movie from getting a LOVE. It wasn’t bad. The squeamish not apply.

Idk how exactly but I just feel like it didn’t take itself serious enough. Like the production felt a bit goofy to me 🤷‍♂️

A suspenseful end-of-the-world thriller that really surprised me, especially for an M Night movie. This little Asian girl did incredibly well, wish she had more of a role. I liked 75% of the film, the last few mins felt unsatisfying after good build up in the 1st two acts.

Concept isn’t flawed, but casting was pretty brutal and ending was predictable. I’ve seen worse but when halfway through you’re questioning what else you could be doing that’s a bad sign

The tension, camera work and sound works perfectly in most scenes but it felt just a little less then what it could have been. In other words it could have been better.

I really loved Shyamalan’s directing, as well as the acting, especially from Aldridge. I was surprised there was no big “Shyamalan surprise twist”, but I’m not saddened with its exclusion.

8/10 pretty good like the twist
