King Arthur Reviews

Interesting cast and great retelling of this classic story with a more realistic approach.

Couldn’t watch this like a normal person bc every time Mads and Hugh were on screen together I freaked out 😭

Mads and Hugh 🤭

One of the best films I’ve seen. Totally immersive, the soundtrack is epic, acting is spot on. Every character is iconic, as is all the dialogue.

Maybe not be a accurate movie but it’s a good gritty movie in the same style as classics like kingdom of heaven

A fully enjoyable film. The Roman plot line is interesting and a great reimagining. 7/10

Good movie. Kind of a stacked cast. Good villain. Not bad fight scenes. Good acting. A few plot holes or poor writing/directing errors. But all around good not great movie.

To me it was always a song about freedom & the will to take it at all costs!

the cinematography was truly everything, breathtaking even.

justice for dagonet

Interesting take on the legend with Arthur as a Roman soldier. Clive Owen is solid and Mads Mikkelsen stands out, but the story feels flat. What really shines is Keira Knightley, her beauty and presence light up the screen even when the movie drags.

Long movie

I love it bring back movies like this

Mi

Just rewatched, better than I remember but still so long

Sometimes terrible movies hold a special place in your heart okay

Rewatch update. Dear god 😂

Medieval Murder Husbands my beloveds. Can’t believe this was what started it all.
Besides that, genuinely enjoyable and a very interesting and unique take on the traditional stories.
Edit: convinced my friends to watch this with me on our holiday and spent the whole time yapping about Mads and Hugh + appreciating them… and also sharing my fun facts >:). I think they got a bit fed up with me talking about Mads’ beard and Hugh’s thighs lol.

9/10 great film, cast, direction, story and a real feel of rawness. Loved it. Another film that will go down in time as one of the great in my eyes. Will be rewatching this many time over (again). Recommended.
