Just a crazy movie with an insanely intense and over the top story.

Bruh what the fuck did I just watch. And of course it’s directed by William friedkin of couuuurseee. I don’t even know like was this so fucking weird or am I just high. Like why was he dreaming about his sister naked and then she like evaporated??? Soooo lynchian. Was it supposed to be incest??Like at first I interpreted her saying that she was freaking out when she found out her parents were getting divorced and then he just like laid flat on top of her until she stopped crying as like she was having like some sort of autistic meltdown and it’s like the temple grandin hugging machine thing, but was that actually like weird vibes and I’m just stupid. I liked how they made Matthew McConaughey a pervert though, just like fundamentally I appreciate that. Something very strange going on with that guy. But at the end of the day the fact of the matter of the story is that it is my parents sold me to Matthew McConaughey fan fiction. And then it gets really weird at the end but like that’s what it is. I also appreciated the leather gloves but next time can we make a movie that’s like basically this one but he’s gay like can we please just get in the writers room and figure this out ok. The way he was talking to her in the beginning though 🤤🤤🤤🫣🫣🫣🫣🤤🤤🫣🫣🫣 thinking 🤔 about that🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔👍👍👍👍😁😁😁

Bizarre

It was alright, I think all the actors did a fine job but the movie just didn’t do it for me. Very interesting way to end the movie as well. I think I’d prefer if it ended differently. I will admit I was a bit surprised at the plot twist near the end.

Torn on the acting abilities here because I loved McConaughey’s performance, but everyone else’s downgraded the film for me. Loved the story here though and all the twists and turns. A wild watch.

My god in heaven. Sat motionless on my couch for 2 minutes in complete silence after finishing this. If you played this in a nursing home there would be a mortality rate north of 75%, and i won't be able to eat fried chicken for 3 months.
