Good job from Butler and very similar to the covenant but 7/10

I was not expecting such a two hours long film set in the middle east to hold my attention so well, but it surprisingly did! I definitely wasn't ready for when roman died though 😭

I liked this movie as whole. It had a decent story with good action. I also really like Gerald butler and the other guys did great. Only thing I wish they did better was the night scene in the desert. I felt like I couldn’t see anything. Definitely worth a watch!!

Kandahar

Typical Middle East drama with a MI5 agent trying to escape the local government after he blows up a factory in their country. Good chases and fire fights. Watch if you have nothing else.

It’s not great but it’s a solid action flick. The plot is thin and it tries to sprinkle sociopolitical commentary throughout but it gets lost in the writing. Not a major 👍🏻 for me but watchable.

Basic action movie. Its redeeming quality is the fact that they showcase how nobody wins in warfare, and the game is rigged against all. To me, it was a social commentary.

Starts okay and then gets really dumb really fast. War/action movie written by someone who’s only experience with the army is a Roblox game or smthn

While I enjoyed Gerard Butler’s acting and “Mo”, also one other character who played Ragnar in Vikings, the other all movie had a confusing start and seemed to jump around a bit until it finally picked up pace. Ending could have been a bit better. Not Butlers best film but was ok
