Defeated male K-pop group MLP style with the power of friendship. Sadly fine shyt died avengers endgame style but still very good 😔😔🔥

K-POP: Demon Hunters is a film that deserves way more attention than it’ll probably get. Sony Pictures Animation has been on a roll lately—Spider-Verse, The Mitchells vs. The Machines—and now this. Once again, they deliver something visually electric, emotionally resonant, and refreshingly original.

What took me by surprise was just how deeply this film dives into real emotions: guilt, shame, sadness, humiliation, denial. All wrapped up in a high-energy, neon-lit package that somehow blends K-pop glamor with supernatural chaos—and still finds time to say something meaningful. The emotional themes hit hard, especially when paired with its powerful musical moments. I didn’t expect to feel so much.

I’ll admit, I’ve never really been into K-pop—but this film gave me a new appreciation for the genre. Not just for the music, but for the dedication, pressure, and vulnerability behind the stage lights. It made the music feel human.

Sony has once again proven that animation isn’t a genre—it’s a medium. And K-POP: Demon Hunters is proof that bold storytelling still has a place in mainstream animation.

i havent actually watched it but i know its shit

it was so bad.. me and my friend trief to do a drinking game where everytime we cringe we would do a shot but we decided against it 10 mins into the movie 😭😭😭

Nice story with nice visuals. I really liked the message of the animation. Definetly would recommend if You crave for something light to watch

Ultimately, what makes KPop Demon Hunters more than just a fun animated movie is how much heart it has. It talks about identity, shame, self-love, and healing without turning preachy or losing its sense of fun.

Really liked this movie, the animation is perfect. I do think the ending was a teeny tiny bit dissapointing since we didnt really get a ‘change’ as i was expecting with the whole. Forced controlled demons thingie. But still love it. Sad about jinu tho

I’m actually shocked I thought this would be overhyped but yeah this movie is really good the soundtrack is great on its own the animation is amazing it has some really great characters who deserve more screen time and it’s lighting fast and definitely rewatchable 9.4/10

I get the hype around it cause it’s K-pop. The animation style was definitely a particular choice. Personally I found parts/one liners funny and animation was very well done. I can see why it’s engaging kids but I found it to be very cliche, predictable and found lots of parts really annoying and over the top. It’s an alright movie if you like the saving the world by songs but if you really look into it it’s just another phase that will pass. I will say though Golden & What it sounds like were definitely bops and not annoying like Soda Pop

I’m not really into the animation of the project as well as the singing saving the world story line. The songs are good but I’m personally not into singing movies.

Surprisingly super good and the songs are all so good!! So worth the time and should have been longer
