i was stressed out literally the entire time and at one point i think my eyes almost bugged out of my head. very 17 year old decision making though and did a lot to reimagine filmmaking

A really good black 90s indie cinema! It captured a certain time in Brooklyn NY, the color of it all, hip hop and rnb soundtrack and of course the fashion. Chantel is book smart, but not yet life smart. It explores circumstances and its impact on girlhood + young pregnancy. 8/10

I was a really great movie.
