The concept/storyline was really good but I didn’t like the way they showed it. Like the scientists were so dumb and wasted half the movie so it was predictable and frustrating 😭🙈

This went from Jung_E to I, Robot to presumably Ex Machina but in the most un-entertaining way possible. It doesn’t get good until it’s about to end. It took me so long to finally tick this off the list and it wasn’t even worth it 😭

Something critical was missing from this film, however when all areas were equally shallow it’s hard to tell exactly what. Writing was decent but poorly executed, visuals were stunning but severely underutilized, and sound/score was just bad. Far from Sang-ho’s best work. 2/5

This felt like a prequel to a movie that doesn’t exist, or like the first 30min of a 2h movie, rather than a movie in itself. Not bad, as such, but felt somewhat incomplete. Cool concept and it looked pretty good most of the time

An uneven Sci-Fi with an overabundance of exposition and not enough of the promised world-building.

Muddled from the beginning. Tugged at some heart strings, had some interesting themes but overall it didn’t know what it wanted to be. Lacked any depth. Was it trying to be thought provoking like Ex-Machina, an action movie like edge of tomorrow or dumb like I-Robot?

Could not get past 20 minutes. Maybe I’ll give it another shot another time
