I think they did a great job with this remake. I mean obviously they can’t ever beat the original. But it was cool how they modernized the idea into a video game. The story is interesting & easy to follow & the actors they chose are obviously incredible and funny!

some parts are funny and i like watching it but whenever that one guy from hereditary comes on i instinctively get afraid.

No flavour. No salt. Just bland. And bad.

I both appreciate and unappreciate the unique changes this makes to the original. I say unique, it's more generic. The plot holes thicken, the artificial acting sickens, and the 'Jumanji' element is flippen. I know it's a modern-day sequel but I hated how they changed what 'Jumanji' the 'boardgame' is. I like that we're inside of the game, but the story wears out too quickly. The switch to avatars was needed and feels almost good. Apart from Jack Black, the casting is a lobby of NPCs, and somehow that's funnier than most of the humour. It feels scripted and expected unlike the original. At least young 'Justin Timberlake' came back.

Pretty solid remake. 7.7/10

The movie had a good storyline, in which the single characters developed. The whole plot was fun to watch and single moments created great laughter. Overall a nice film for an easy evening 🍿

War ganz nett jedoch gab es ein zwei Plothols und lose enden. Aber der Film war super lustig, für einen Film Abend zum Lachen Perfect.

Doing too much I feel

I first saw this movie at an event a week before it’s public release, and I enjoyed every single minute of it. It’s funny, it’s action packed, and everyone that’s in it does an amazing job at keeping you entertained. Everything was perfect and the comedy is hilarious. 10/10 movie
