I had absolutely no knowledge of her life other than being Dorothy. It was so wonderful to watch a film that taught me more about her. I think Renée’s depiction of her was very moving. It was emotional, and definitely worth watching. I enjoyed Andy Nyman! The end scene (shivers)

judy garland was another starlet that got taken advantage of at every age. she was a star in the public’s eyes but everyone behind the scenes abused her the way they would with any non famous woman

Great adaptation of a Hollywood legend! Such a sad ending for an icon whose presence helped the country through the depression and through the war! Her legacy lives on through film and her daughter’s success.

Rachel Zellweger did phenomenal capturing the the optimism and charm Judy had while also incorporating the negative effects it had on Judy of being Americas sweetheart. The acting done by her was captivating and brought Judy to life once again ❤️❤️❤️
