i love kayako and toshio sm i could marry kayako and fix her and we could be a happy family

a little bit goofy and can be hard to follow sometimes with the non-chronological story but it was really cool and i like the ghosts so it was a fun watch, especially in a group

just like the other ju-on movies, the ending is pretty cool but the rest of it was kinda boring, still appreciate it

While I like the look of the ghosts, it was too slow between the pop scare moments. Too bad, because I wanted to love this.

This one is conflicting because some of the scenes were actually creepy, but others were goofy, so it breaks tension unintentionally. I'd say this one is more effective than the remake but still not that far off.

While it makes a good case to be considered an all-time great, I fear this one doesn’t age as well as many would like to admit. Sound plays a bigger part than other mise en scene, but the story isn’t as solid as one would hope to truly get under your skin.

Not as scary to me as The Ring was, but has a deeply compelling story just like The Ring.

Better than the remakes of course !
