The action is raised to another brutal level. I love how the stakes are raised against John but he never stops

A sequel that improves every aspect of the original, the acting is better, the story is better, and I love how stupid fun the action is. There is literally a scene where John Wick kills a bunch a guys with a pencil, A PENCIL! It’s so over the top but so fun.

1st one was so good that I had to rewatch this one too. And the 3rd one. Amazing follow up, I personally think the story was a little weaker than the first and the third one. Although, I think this one was a little weak, so that the 3rd one could hit even harder.

Good ending. Good villain. Disappointing combat. The bad guys are as accurate as storm troopers. John never misses unless it’s a character whose death needs to be prolonged

8.1 - more lore & world building, more guns, more cars, more creative kills (mirror exhibit sequence- 🤯), & less slo-mo & weird effects make this slightly edge out Ch. 1. Now I just hope the remainders can stay in the realm of plausibility where this one started to toe the line.

Its pretty rare for sequels to be equally as exciting as the 1st, but these films hit every mark & more. NEVER disappoints & the non stop action makes for such a fun ride that you never want it to come to an end. Keanu is the man!!!

I understand the poster because of the ending, but it's bait😂
It was great, literally was a part 2 (it's in the name lol, but still) and connects it really smoothly, especially the antagonists, and Santino was an incredible villain, made you hate him from the beginning
