Bette Davis carried this heavily and is the sole reason I liked the film, because otherwise I found it pretty boring.

wait actually Woah. Quite a complexly dense film that was really well crafted. Loves Julie’s character arc, it felt a lot more dynamic than other films during this time. Similarly with the film style was so beautiful and innovative with new techniques— really pleasantly suprised
