The special effects are truly nearly as good as today’s. This is absolute must see.

3.5/5 - the story itself is fine, just kind of the typical adaptation of Greek mythology (which I always enjoy) but what really makes this movie is the stop motion elements. The blend between live action and stop motion has held up really well and still makes such a clever and effective film :-)

A creature double feature favorite on Dr Shocks 1970s Saturday afternoon channel 48 TV.

Pretty crafty how they made all the effects work. A lot of time and effort can be seen throughout. Cool Greek story, too.

besides the cool stop-animation, the story is boring. and it was supposed to be a two parter but the second movie was never made so it kind of ruins the whole story imo

Will watch this every chance I get. Those skeletons! :-)
