Man I really thought I was gonna love this movie based on the beginning but I just expected so much more, Gyllenhaal was still great tho and I enjoyed the movie

Not your average action packed gun blasting war movie. It was mental. You felt the pain and disappointment they felt. Amazing acting 10/10 on all part. Amazing movie. Definitely a top 5

I liked this film. I liked how it focused more on the mentality of a marine, but I really wanted to see more action. The acting was just perfect from Jake Gyllenhaal and it’s prob my fav role he’s played.

Happy to finally watch jarhead with the life of a marine did in the golf war and after the war

I’ll start by saying that the acting, the actors, the writing for the story, all of it was pure excellence to say the least and extremely well written and acted out. The movie does a good job at depicting real life but I will say the story does have flaws. Good film tho. 8.4/10!!
