Man I really thought I was gonna love this movie based on the beginning but I just expected so much more, Gyllenhaal was still great tho and I enjoyed the movie

Not your average action packed gun blasting war movie. It was mental. You felt the pain and disappointment they felt. Amazing acting 10/10 on all part. Amazing movie. Definitely a top 5

I liked this film. I liked how it focused more on the mentality of a marine, but I really wanted to see more action. The acting was just perfect from Jake Gyllenhaal and it’s prob my fav role he’s played.

7.8/10. Very good movie, not ur typical war movie and great acting.
Didn’t really like the ending, maybe cus I felt a little annoyed that I had just watched a whole war movie with no “war” iykwim. Cool story and that’s why I liked it, but I do like war movies where theirs “war”.

Typical military movie. Nothing special. Felt like these talented actors got a chance to play “dumb airhead characters.”
