Confused on the ending my guess is that like the title “Jack goes home” literally after hallucinating his dead mother abusing him he goes home back to her I think he’s using it as a coping mechanism because he lost both of his parents. 🤷🏾‍♀️

Brief Thoughts: Jack Thurlow, you are just like me for real. And for that I am so, so sorry. Literally only docked a star because of my heartbrokenness for this guy.

Started out so slow and then it was good for like 10 minutes and then I didn’t like it🥲

The writing was pretty bad in terms of both what the characters were saying and the plot, but points cause Rory culkin is hot asf even if he’s a way worse actor then Kieran sorry. The ending was dumb and the whole thing felt kinda fake deep but it was well made, like it seemed decently high budget and I like the vibes. Also Jack kinda fucking pissed me off. Also also are we supposed to think the house is haunted by like the dad??? Cause I feel like usually ghost rules work like where the person died is where they haunt. But I guesss there aren’t technically any ghost rules 😒😔. Or like was Jack just completely crazy cause like how did the dog die if his mom was dead?did he kill the dog? how did he find the shit in the attic? Was the neighbor even like real or was he like a projection of his repressed memories of the baby sitter and the dad? Or like maybe the neighbor was real but that one scene was just a projection? I don’t knowwww many questions.

Just an ok movie nothing good about it but nothing bad with it either

right so i watched this bc im in love with rory culkin but idk if i liked it or not. i couldn’t tell you who’s alive or who’s not. it was both very predictable and not at the same time. i think if it had better writing it would have been a lot better.

what i thought was going to be just another horror movie was DEVASTATING. i only watched for rory but stayed for the plot. jump scares actually got me so bad and everything was so eerie. very strange film. i loved every second of it though. extremely attention grabbing 8.8/10

Honestly I only watched it for Rory but this was good. The videotape scene with the bathtub and the baby was so eerie. This whole movie in general is eerie. Also I NEED that song in the party scene

Not bad. Pretty messed up and suspenseful. Id recommend putting your phone away or you’ll lose track of what’s happening quick.

it was good! i think the 35 rating is a little harsh but the acting wasn’t great but the story was really good.
