Robin does a good job in this role. Fun movie to watch and see how everyone reacts to Jack being 10 years old. Simple concept

Oh dear. This film doesn’t land for me very well. The concept is silly of course and it is meant to be so. However, Robin Williams is the only actor who can convince me of the character’s age. The rest of the actors ruin the magic for me and don’t sell it. Writing’s mid too.

It’s not Robin Williams’ best movie, but it’s entertaining. It’s a film that both adults and children can enjoy (at least that’s what I would say if we were still in the ‘90s).

There are some very strange scenes involving an adult spending time with children in a treehouse, and I’m 100% sure those moments would be censored if the movie were released today.

The story itself is quite fantastical and unlikely, especially the idea of a condition like Jack’s actually existing. However, the message it delivers is meaningful: live life slowly and learn to appreciate the things life brings you — family, friends, school, and all the experiences along the way.

A really deep movie and really moving
