such a cozy and comforting film! the chemistry between Halle Bailey and Regé-Jean Page was so natural and charming. it’s definitely cliché and cheesy, but what romcom isn’t?! the Black joy throughout was just the cherry on top, and the humor definitely had me giggling.

If a random cartoon romance book cover got turned into a movie it would be this. It was cute for what it was but otherwise unremarkable. Still it was a fun watch and Halle Bailey is so beautiful, all her outfits ate.

A good cringey romcom that honestly reminds me of the romcoms from the earlier 2000’s. I loved the family and Anna’s relationship with them and their shared love for cooking. The food looked so good, like can I please have some.

I love Halle, but this was definitely hard to watch. I won't give any spoilers, but for those who are interested in watching, be prepared to question ALOT of things in the plot that just doesn't add up🤷‍♀️
