i lived my whole life thinking i made this movie up in my head when i used to write stories as a kid. i am JUST finding out this is a real movie and story. im astonished. i dont even remember watching the movie but i knew most of the scenes while rewatching. weird phenomenon

My only regret is that I waited so long to watch it. So cute and wholesome and lovely. Muriel is so punchable I can’t put it into words. Hate her. Everyone else is perfection.

I loved Nick cage’s sweet character and really loved the message. If I win the lottery I want to give back and be generous with my money and good fortune . Very cute and good natured movie.  Rosie Perez was so neurotically funny and annoying.
