people always compare this to fantastic mr fox and i don’t think that’s fair, i love them both but they have such different styles and storylines, it is always in fantastic mr foxes shadow and it needs to be more appreciated because it’s so good!!

I like this movie but I would rather be watching the fantastic Mr. Fox

I love this movie it was super fun to watch. I loved the plot and characters and the animation is super creative.

Holy cow was that movie good. The animation alone is makes this movie amazing, but the story is so good. Fantastic Mr fox and isle of dogs might be the best animated movies ever.

Unique and immediately recognizable as Wes Anderson. Great movie with a lot of parallels to Fantastic Mr. Fox while still being very much its own thing. The choice to have human characters speak their native tongue was cool. The framing, color palate, and general art direction is just as good as Wes Andersons other work.
