This movie was fantastic! The jump-scares were SCARIN! And the plot WAS PLOTIN! However if this is the last installment I’m still hella confused but 🤷🏽‍♀️I loved this series but I wish they would have did some things differently. This is a great movie to watch around Halloween:)))

Can you magine being 70 or something years old and be the main character in a horror franchise. You can’t? Well Lin Shaye can. Tucker definitely has a foot fetish. Elise is such a badass. 
“She’s psychic, we are sidekick”

having an older woman be THE main character in a film, i feel, is way too uncommon, elise really is the heart and soul of this franchise and i’m glad we got to see more of her character and backstory
the demon with the finger keys is pretty cool too and i liked the little twists

solid 7/10 couldve ended the uni here.

Great horror

A lot of the strengths of this movie comes from the performance by Lin Shaye as Elise. She’s always good, but this film entirely focuses on her character, so she gets to shine a lot… and she really does.

HORRIBLE MOVIE

one jumpscare was so good. i don’t like how everyone js going to the further now. also why was the elise’s mum super strong what a dumb death for one of the most powerful demons we’ve seen.

Rewatching all the insidious movies in chronological order to prepare for the new one coming out. Love the plot so far. If you can get past the occasionally cheesy acting, it’s pretty solid

Another prequel that just feels bland and boring. This film has some really great jump scares, but most of this movie is just slow and drawn out and boring. I wanted to like this, but it doesn’t have enough to keep you interested and feel enthralled.

Insidious really keeps inventing lore just to ignore it.

didnt really love this, im sure ill forget every detail of the plot within the month - needed to watch it in the series, glad I can check that box forever

This was quite disappointing. I'm not a fan of two prequels back to back. My main criticism is nothing has stakes. The two nieces are just plot devices to further the story. I actually love the key demon; I thought his design and idea was awesome. Massive disappointment. 6.5/10
