Insidious: The Last Key Reviews

purrr elise

This movie was fantastic! The jump-scares were SCARIN! And the plot WAS PLOTIN! However if this is the last installment I’m still hella confused but 🤷🏽‍♀️I loved this series but I wish they would have did some things differently. This is a great movie to watch around Halloween:)))

having an older woman be THE main character in a film, i feel, is way too uncommon, elise really is the heart and soul of this franchise and i’m glad we got to see more of her character and backstory
the demon with the finger keys is pretty cool too and i liked the little twists

Great horror

A lot of the strengths of this movie comes from the performance by Lin Shaye as Elise. She’s always good, but this film entirely focuses on her character, so she gets to shine a lot… and she really does.

solid 7/10 couldve ended the uni here.

honestly slay elise

HORRIBLE MOVIE

it was ok, needed more scares and eerie moments

DAYUM SPECS. HELL YES SPECS

HELL NOOO, THE KEY MONSTER IS A BIG HELL NOOO

The original is still my favorite, but this one was at least much scarier than the third installment! I enjoyed learning about Elise’s past, but I wish we got a bit more backstory on each of these demons like we did for Parker (Bride in Black). 4/5

I just love how these movies intertwine!

I CANT SEE SHIT.

👍🏻

It was still good, but I like Chapter 3 the best. This one felt like the climax and the action became resolved too quickly. I did like the backstory of Elise though. Also, the door in the basement… 😑😕

It’s ok, not really a horror

Entertaining enough but I won’t rewatch this one.

one jumpscare was so good. i don’t like how everyone js going to the further now. also why was the elise’s mum super strong what a dumb death for one of the most powerful demons we’ve seen.

6.4/10 👍

this was sooo peak bro i love it so much CHEFS KISS
