Elise do be a baddie tho

this is definitely the scariest movie of the entire franchise. For the insidious franchise, this is #2 on my ranking. AND ALSO WHO HIT MISS STEFANIE SCOTT W THE CAR!!??

Really cool to see how Elise met Spec and Tucker. Quinn is really the whore of the entity in this third part

Insidious: The Beginning

10x better than the first AND second movie. Almost every jump-scare got me. The plot was good asf and the acting was great! Was a little confuse of why this specific plot came after chapter 2 but??? I’m not complaining!I recommend

Its okay but the same story as the ither parts so gets kinda boring

Whannell does a creditable job with the film. He’s not as bold as Wan about mounting a sequence, but he’s not slouch about the psychology of screen horror.

While the story wrapped up on the initial family that started, the franchise, there are other elements to the further that need to be explained. And I love that this dives into more of Elise’s story. This also passes the baton to other writers at Blumhouse. It’s very good!

definitely the worst out of the first three movies, the main character and her dad were insufferable and the acting all around was just awful, i did like how elise girlbossed and the part where the guy’s wife died made me cry, i wish he was the main character

I was pretty bored during this movie and it just wasn’t as good as the first 2 movies in my opinion. I didn’t like that it ignored the cliffhanger that the 2nd movie had because Chapter 3 takes place before the first movie. It wasn’t that suspenseful and just wasn’t really scary

After watching the first two Insidious movies I figured I needed to watch this one. There were definitely quite a few scenes where I jumped out of my seat in fear, but it definitely wasn’t as good as the first two were. I’ll give it an 8.6/10

I cheated and saw a video explaining her lore first. But it was still fun to watch

For me, this was the scariest out of the three. I’ve seen this before and I completely forgot about the beginning and it got me good.

Definitely the weakest of the three films in terms of horror, but the strongest in terms of emotional payoff. I actually teared up a bit at the end. I’d give it a 3/5. The beginning was quite boring, but the ending alone saves it from a 2.

If I ever saw an old guy waving at me at night I would run the FUCK out of there, SpongeBob SquarePants style.

It’s ok

I loved getting a deeper look at Elise’s life. Interesting to see how all the movies share similarities and interconnect. I am torn between wondering if this should be the first movie tho, it references the first movie, but it’s set before the Lambert family.
